Meet John from Dent Devil St. Louis in Clayton, MO.

John’s fast, we mean really fast. We captured 18 minutes of him working on hail-damaged car and sped it up to three minutes.


 

Even though John works quickly, efficiently and meticulously, he was kind enough to take a break and answer some questions about working at Dent Devil.


How long have you been working at Dent Devil?
“I’ve been working here for four years.”

How long have you been doing PDR?
“I’ve been doing PDR since 2008.”

What do you like most about your job?
“I like to give the customers their cars back and surprise them by seeing the look on their faces. They can’t believe it. We can make their car look how it use to. I get to bring their pride and joy back to what it used to be — and that’s the best part. I take a lot of pride in my work.”

What services do you do at the Dent Devil St. Louis?
“We do a lot things, like bumper repair, alloy wheel and rim repair, detailing, window tinting, pinstriping, repairing windshield cracks and chips and more. We basically do anything cosmetically with the outside of the vehicle.”

How many cars do you normally work on in a week?
“It changes all the time. If there’s a hail storm in St. Louis, we’ll get lots of cars and we can spend a full day on a car. Somedays when there’s no hail damage, there can be 10 cars that come through our shop with door dings. It’s always different.”

What is Paintless Dent Repair? (And Why We’re the Dent Experts.)

Door dings, dents and hail damage happen to all of us, and Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is the process we take to quickly repair these.
